Dr. Razan M. Baabdullah, BDS, MS, FRCDC

Dr. Baabdullah is an assistant professor, clinical researcher, and oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a passion for education and healthcare innovation. She earned her dental degree from King AbdulAziz University in Saudi Arabia and completed her surgical internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at McGill University. There, she founded InnoVSP.com, a virtual platform dedicated to teaching innovation in the realm of virtual surgical planning. She obtained a Master's degree from Harvard Medical School, concentrating on oral cancer screening and the role of policymaking and social medicine in shaping healthcare agendas.

Bindu

Bindu (under pen name Annika Sharma) is a multi-hyphenate science nerd and creative, has over a decade of experience in education, healthcare, and communications. She is also a podcaster, an agented and published author, represented by Donaghy Literary Group, and a public speaker. Following the release of her first novel in 2015, she was signed to Sourcebooks for a three-book deal. The first, "Love, Chai, and Other Four-Letter Words," was given two starred reviews from trade publications, and was named an Amazon's Editors' Pick and Library Journal Best Book of 2021. "Sugar, Spice, and Can't Play Nice," released in May 2023.

Dr. Ochoa-Maya has expertise in strategic leadership, change management, high-performance execution, and is involved in scientific studies across phases II to IV; collaborating extensively in regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance, clinical development, and patient advocacy, advancing science and engaging with various stakeholders.

 

Passionate about medical exchange, teaching, and public speaking, she contributes to current guidelines, disease state research, and publications with a focus on incorporating digital tools to drive scientific progress.

Ramya Chunduri

Ramya is a social worker and psychotherapist with specializations in complicated grief, complex family dynamics, and domestic violence. After finding a deep passion for evidence-based storytelling through animation and classical dance while at Harvard Medical School in the inaugural media, medicine, and health cohort, she founded the company, Saurya Media.

Zahra Karim

Zahra is a senior at the University of Rochester majoring in neuroscience. She is passionate about mental health advocacy and engagement within the South Asian community. Through her experiences volunteering in healthcare settings and mentoring students, Zahra has developed a strong commitment to service and outreach. She is especially excited to support Sai Connect’s efforts to make mental health resources more accessible in the South Asian community, as well as to expand mental health awareness.
